‘Kalluri Pongal’ celebration was held on 10th, January at Thamirabharani Engineering College.
‘Kalluri Pongal’ – 2025
The celebration commenced at 10.a.m. With the blessings of our respected Secretary, Mr. Senthil Kumar Palraj, the function was presided over by Principal, Dr. K. Asan Mohideen. Mr. T. Kumaran, Director of Administration, Mr. V. Arunachalam, Director of Academics and Heads of all the Departments were also present in the function. Respected Secretary, Mr. Senthil Kumar Palraj lightened the Karpooram of the entire department Pongals. All the teaching and non- teaching faculty members attended the celebration. Students came in the traditional dresses and happily participated in the events conducted and got many prizes.
Various games were conducted for both students and staff members separately such as ‘Lucky draw’, ‘Kiru- Kiru’, ‘Uriyadi’ and ‘Tug of War’. Staff members actively participated and won prizes. Prizes were distributed by Secretary, Mr. Senthil Kumar Palraj, Principal, Dr. K. Asan Mohideen, Director of Administration, Mr. T. Kumaran and Director of Academics, Mr. V. Arunachalam to the winners. The celebration was ended with the distribution of ‘pongal’ and ‘karumbu’ to all the teaching and non – teaching faculties and students.
